PACE Parent Committee (PPC)

The purpose of the PACE Parent Committee is to assist PACE faculty in fulfilling the mission statement goals. To accomplish these goals, the PACE Parent Committee will focus its attention on the following activities:

  • To raise and expend funds to further the goals of PACE.
  • To facilitate PACE parent suggestions and participation in special PACE activities including: field trips, cultural events, book clubs, community service, and classroom speakers.
  • To serve as a liaison to other key institutions at Kennedy, including the administration, the faculty, and other Small Learning Communities.
  • To provide a forum for PACE parents to discuss PACE activities and provide a means for PACE parents and staff to discuss PACE goals and their effective implementation.
  • To organize an annual end of the year event for PACE students and their families and to consider sponsoring other special events of a celebratory or educational nature for PACE.
